About Me

I graduated from the Edinburgh College of Art (ECA) and went on to work in textile studios in London, creating print and embroidered textile designs for clients such as Diesel, Juicy Couture, Abercrombie and Karen Millen (to name but a few).

While I was in London, I started my label 'Nathalie' and sold my designs in Spitalfields Market and in Carnaby Street. I then moved back to Scotland and set up my studio outside Glasgow.

I continue to work as a freelance designer and I also teach textile design at Heriot Watt University. My new range has been showcased at Glasgow's Lighthouse and is stocked by the madeintheshade shop in Glasgow's west end and also online at www.velvetboutique.co.uk
